Is the Baby Foot Peel Really Worth the Hype?
The results are so good (gross, but good)!

After months of hiding our toes in boots and sneakers during those cold winter months, summer is finally here. That means it's sandal season! So, if your feet are in dire need of some attention but a regular pedicure just won’t do the trick, let me introduce you to Baby Foot peel.
This viral sensation of foot care magically removes layers of dead, cracked and dry skin revealing brand new, soft skin. Instead of callused and crusty feet, you too could have soft feet just like a baby.
Yes, the name totally creeps me out, but have you seen the pictures and videos of people using Baby Foot and then peeling away layers of their feet just days later? It's oddly satisfying.
I've wanted to try this foot peel for years and a few weeks ago I got my hands on this product. If you've ever wanted to try Baby Foot, keep reading for my honest review.

What Is Baby Foot?
Baby Foot Peel is designed to exfoliate and remove dead skin from the tops and bottoms of your feet. The brand promises to give you the softest, smoothest feet of your life. The key ingredients in Baby Foot Peel are alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) such as glycolic acid and lactic acid, as well as beta hydroxy acids (BHAs) like salicylic acid. These chemical exfoliants work to break down the bonds between dead skin cells, allowing them to shed more easily.
Additionally, the peel contains moisturizing ingredients like urea and glycerin to help hydrate and soften the skin.

How Do You Use Baby Foot?
The directions for Baby Peel are super simple. Start with clean, dry feet and make sure you don't have any cuts or scrapes on your feet before using.
Baby Foot comes with plastic booties that contain a gel solution. Place the booties on your feet and get comfy because you need to leave them on for an hour.
After an hour, remove the booties and rinse off any remaining gel with water. Now it's time to wait. In about a week, the dead skin on your feet will start to peel away, revealing softer, smoother skin underneath.
My feet didn't start peeling until day 10, which at first made me think I did something wrong. But then the peeling started, and it was disgusting but also amazing. While I expected the bottoms of my feet to peel away in big pieces, I didn't expect so much skin on the top of my feet to also peel.

Now that the peeling is all done, my feet are super soft and I'm very surprised by the results. Definitely worth trying out.

My Tips
- If you have an event coming up soon and you want to wear sandals, give yourself two or three weeks for the entire process. I was shocked by how long my feet peeled after using Baby Foot.
- Don't try to walk in the booties because you won't make it far. Trust me, I wiped out trying to make it to my couch. It wasn't pretty.

Is Baby Foot Safe?
I had some concerns before trying it out myself. But after doing some research and reading countless reviews, I can confidently say that yes, it is safe for most people. However, if you have any open cuts or sores on your feet, it's probably best to hold off until they heal.

Cons
- You'll be shedding skin like a snake: After a few days or weeks, the end result are great, but plan accordingly so you don't have to explain why your feet are peeling away if you go shoeless.
- It's not a quick fix: you’ll need to wait a few days for the full effects to kick in.
