Moriah has grown up, moved out, embraced her love for music, fallen in love, and so much more. Click through her most memorable moments on Welcome to Plathville so far and stay tuned for what’s next!
Moriah embarked on her journey with a passion for music. Here she is with the Plath family band: Isaac, Lydia, Hosanna, Micah, and Ethan.
Moriah asked her mom, Kim, for permission to travel to San Francisco. This was her first trip ever.
Moriah always prides herself on looking like a queen…no matter her family’s rules regarding makeup.
Moriah and her sister-in-law, Olivia, went shopping together in secret to buy clothes without her mom’s approval.
Moriah showed off her and Micah’s new house to her sister, Lydia. She had finally achieved independence.
Moriah went on a first date with a guy named Max. At the time, they were just getting ice cream, but little did they know, they would soon become a couple.
Moriah sang a song she wrote about Max to her brother, Micah. Oh, young love!
Max took Moriah for a spin on his motorcycle, which was a totally new experience for her.
Olivia and Moriah kept in touch and discussed all things without Kim knowing. There was family drama going on between Olivia and Moriah’s parents, but these two still made sure to find time to catch up.
Moriah and Max were big on PDA and spending so much time together.
The eldest Plath siblings celebrated July 4th with a bang. They went into the summer stronger than ever.
Max and Moriah celebrated their one year anniversary and he surprised her with a promise ring!
Moriah joined Olivia and Helena, Micah's friend, on a getaway. The girls had a fun day going to the beach and getting closer with one another.
The oldest siblings went on a camping trip to spend some quality time together.
Moriah performed at her first concert! Olivia, Ethan, and Micah supported her all the way at the very important gig. Although her mom and younger siblings found out about the show and turned up unannounced, it was an overall success.
Moriah changed up her hair game and dyed her blonde locks purple before moving to Tampa, Florida with Ethan, Olivia, and Olivia's brother, Nathan.
A few weeks after moving, Moriah received a devastating call from Max. He told her he made a "mistake" and it ultimately ended their relationship.
Micah was there for Moriah to lean on. Although she didn't want to reveal the details about her and Max's breakup, she encouraged Micah to speak to Max and hear his side of the story.
Max admitted to Micah that he kissed another woman. Not only did this end his relationship with Moriah, but it also ruined his friendship with Micah.
Moriah opened up to her family about the breakup. Lydia comforted her older sister and said she'd always be there to listen. Then, Lydia asked if it was okay to continue hanging out with Max. Moriah was taken by surprise.
In need of some new scenery, Moriah traveled back to Los Angeles with Micah. She met his friends and they all had a fun night around the fire!
Moriah had some sad news to share with Micah. Shortly after Micah and Max had their conversation, Max called Moriah and admitted he lied to her. The kiss that broke them up was indeed more than just a kiss. Although it hurt to hear, Moriah felt assured in her decision to end things. She even began looking back at their relationship differently.
Back home in Tampa, Moriah wanted to shake things up. She ditched her purple hair and went back to blonde for a fresh start!
Moriah was starting to feel like herself again. She met up with Olivia and said that once she took a step back, she realized that her breakup with Max stirred up emotions she never dealt with from the passing of her younger brother, Joshua. She was able to process everything and had a more positive outlook on her future.
Max posted a video online about their brekaup, sharing his side of the story. Moriah wasn't prepared for all of the attention and social media comments — and worst of all, she felt betrayed.
Moriah and Kim went to the beach and talked about everything going on in both of their lives. Moriah discussed her breakup with Max and Kim talked about her troubled marriage with husband Barry. Although they were experiencing very different situations, they bonded over the feelings they shared.
Lydia and Moriah met up for coffee. Moriah confronted Lydia about her hangout with Max and got everything off her chest. Lydia broke down when she realized how she made Moriah feel. In the end, the sisters made up.
Moriah and Olivia took a pole dancing class for a boost of confidence!
Moriah and the family planned to visit Joshua's grave together. When Moriah told Olivia that Kim would be there as well, the conversation turned sour.
The Plaths put their differences aside to visit Joshua's grave together. Moriah was proud that they could all be in the same place for an important event.
Moriah, Ethan, Olivia, and Micah took a trip to Jamaica! They tried delicious foods, learned new things, and danced on the beach.
Moriah surprised her family with gifts from Jamaica. She hoped that Olivia and Nathan would join. At first they didn't, which rubbed Moriah the wrong way. Eventually, the whole crew reunited for a picnic and a fun day of swimming.
A family day by the water!
Moriah welcomed someone special into her life — an adorable dog name Blackjack! He was definitely a handful, but Moriah was excited to have a new companion by her side.
She was upset by Olivia's negative claims about Kim using Ethan's credit card, so she opted to move away and live on her own. She left a note behind and moved into her own loft apartment. She and Micah both made social media posts about the situation, which created a larger rift between the two of them and Ethan and Olivia.
Moriah and Micah visited the family farm and asked both of their parents to spend some time together. They chatted about the tension they felt with Ethan and Olivia. Moriah and Micah both defended Kim.
Barry asked Moriah why he couldn't find her music online anymore. Moriah shared that her music was on Olivia's account and she didn't have access. When she asked Olivia for access and didn't receive a reply, she threatened to take legal action against Olivia. Moriah explained that Olivia deleted the music from her account after that.
Moriah confided in Barry about her struggles. She had been in a dark place, but wanted to find meaning again. So, she asked Barry to baptize her!
Although she was brought up in a religious family, she rejected it as she got older. However, it felt right to accept religion on her own terms this time.
Moriah and her younger sister, Lydia, bonded by the bonfire. They talked about life and Moriah's faith.
"Learning to love someone where they're at can be the most challenging, but most rewarding thing ever," Lydia shared.
Moriah opened up about having alopecia, a disease that causes hair loss, as a child. She admitted that she was bald for several years and once her hair grew back, she did her best to forget it ever happened. With all of the recent changes in her life, she reflected on those years and decided to be kinder to her younger self.
The infamous "REBEL" tattoo! Moriah was so excited for her first ink and brought Barry along for the experience.
Although the Plaths never celebrated traditional holidays in the past, Kim decided to get the kids together to decorate a Christmas tree for the first time. Moriah and her siblings had a blast.
Moriah missed her brother, Ethan. She unblocked him and sent him a text, hoping to fix their fractured relationship.
Moriah invited her family to attend her ballroom dancing competition. She worked so hard on her routine and had the best time. Best of all, she was happy to see her family come together in support of her.
The family divide inspired Moriah to write and record a new song. Music was her escape, her dream, and her outlet.
Moriah and Ethan finally met up to discuss their issues with each other. Even though they disagreed about certain things, they hashed everything out, apologized, and forgave each other.
Moriah moved back home to Cairo in order to save money and figure out her next move. Barry welcomed her with open arms and she moved into the family home. Moriah and Barry became very close since the divorce and took up running together.
Moriah didn't just leave Tampa for a change of scenery. She was also dealing with heartbreak and left behind someone she cared deeply about. She learned that the man she was dating wasn't being fully honest with her and it crushed her. So, she decided to move back home in order to heal.
As a bartender and a waitress, Moriah was highly motivated by work. Her job pushed her to be social with strangers and extend kindness to everyone.
Moriah and Lydia were both at a crossroads. They talked about the present and the future — and they even toyed with the idea of attending college together.
The Plath siblings went to go see Kim's new houseboat. They had lots of questions about Kim's living situation, but they were happy to see her enjoying herself and trying something unfamiliar.
Ethan and Moriah went to a bar to catch up. Ethan shared his feelings about his divorce from Olivia and Moriah was there to support him.
After a long period of no contact, Moriah asked Olivia to meet up with her. Moriah wanted to apologize for her part in the dissolution of their friendship and Olivia was willing to hear her out. They weren't close anymore, but it was clear that they still cared for one another. In the end, Olivia was grateful for the closure she didn't know she needed.
Moriah was still dealing with the aftermath of her breakup and Kim was a great shoulder to cry on. She supported Moriah and felt so proud of her for taking control of her life. They both shed some tears talking about it.
Moriah even asked Kim to help choreograph her new music video, which showed just how much their relationship blossomed in recent years.
