We first met Ed "Big Ed" Brown, a photographer from San Diego, on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days. Here's a throwback of a younger Ed, and it's safe to say that he's come a long way. Take a look back at his story.
Ed appeared with his then-girlfriend, Rosemarie, on 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days Season 4. Together, they had some unforgettable moments — like this leg massage.

He planned out an entire dating profile photoshoot!
Ed was interested in his friend, Liz, who happened to be his waitress for the evening. With a little encouragement, he asked her out during her shift.

The budding couple grew close. They attended a wedding together — but more importantly, Ed trusted Liz to style his hair.
Although things were going in the right direction, Liz had her doubts.
The couple's 27-year age gap became a major concern for them, especially when Ed introduced Liz to his daughter, Tiffany.
After a rollercoaster of breakups and makeups, things between Ed and Liz seemed over for good at the 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All.
After the breakup, Ed made the gym a priority. Look at him getting those gains!

On the second season of 90 Day: The Single Life, Ed took a woman named Mia on a date. They met at a friend's barbecue and kept in touch ever since. The pair went swing dancing and out to dinner after. It was going great!
During dinner, however, Ed answered a question about his ex, Liz. He started crying and said that letting Liz go was the hardest thing he ever had to do, which ultimately pushed Mia away.
Ed had a heart-to-heart with Norma about values and what he was looking for in a life partner. Norma told Ed that he should embrace their family's culture and try dating a Latina woman.
And then, Norma's wish was granted. Ed's friend, Laura (left), introduced him to her friend, Kaory (right), over video chat. The pair connected fairly quickly and Ed was excited to see where things would go.
Ed and Norma flew to Mexico together! Ed was ready to meet Kaory in person and brought his mom along for support. Norma was especially excited to visit her homeland of Mexico and help Ed with his Spanish if needed.
Ed and Kaory hit it off, but the sounds of a robbery outside the restaurant interrupted their date. Ultimately, they were fine and Ed felt they were able to bond over what happened.
Unfortunately, Ed began talking about marriage and Kaory thought he was moving too fast. Kaory distanced herself from Ed and stopped answering his texts. Ed accepted her decision and returned to the states.
In a sad turn of events, Ed's dog, Teddy, passed away. He received flowers and tokens of sympathy from friends and family, but he couldn't figure out who left a certain bouquet on his doorstep. He checked his doorbell camera and found out it was Liz! The two began speaking again and soon, they were a couple.
Ed popped the question and Liz said yes! They weren't sure how their loved ones would take the news, but they were willing to fight for their love.
Ed and Liz appeared on Season 7 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After. The couple started planning their engagement party despite their loved ones' skepticism.
Ed revealed that getting back together with Liz caused some of his closest relationships to crumble. His buddy, Rich, didn't approve of the engagement, daughter Tiffany didn't want to speak to him, and his mom felt he was choosing Liz over everyone else in his life.
Liz was excited to learn how to use Ed's professional photograhy camera and asked her friend, Alex, to be their model. However, the lighthearted lesson took a turn. Liz felt ignored while Ed photographed Alex and she felt he was being too flirty. Liz made negative comments about Ed's photos and eventually left the photo shoot. They decided that they shouldn't work on projects together.
The couple's recent argument was rough and Liz felt that Ed was being controlling, but they decided to let everything go so they could enjoy a romantic evening together. They pretended to be strangers and Ed approached Liz with several cheesy pickup lines. By the end of date night, these "strangers" became inseparable once again.
Celebration time! Although Ed's family did not attend the couple's engagement party, it was still a heartwarming, memorable experience. They were surrounded by supporters.
Then, the good times turned sour. Liz and her friend got into a heated argument and she had the woman removed by security. Subsequently, Ed accused Liz of having an intimate relationship with her friend. Liz stormed out of the party and threw her ring in someone's yard. The night ended with a blowout fight back at home — and Liz going back to find her ring in the bushes so she could return it to Ed.
After a chaotic evening, Ed and Liz took a beat and met up to discuss their issues. They knew their relationship wasn't perfect, but they still wanted to give love another shot.
Ed invited Liz to join him during his therapy session. His therapist helped them discuss their boundaries, needs, and plans for the future.
The fiances wanted to get back to the way they used to be. So, they tried building their love and intimacy back through massages — and back waxing for Ed.
Ed and Liz made their way to Arkansas, where Ed grew up. They visited Ed's sister, Christine, and her family during the trip, and they all went four wheeling together. Liz finally felt accepted by some of Ed's family members and it was a huge relief for her.
Back at home, Ed and Liz decided to make some big changes. Liz was about to go back to work full time — not only to regain her independence, but also to create a more stable lifestyle for her daughter.
Then, the couple went house hunting! Liz even proposed moving somewhere new to have a fresh start and Ed was on board.
Liz was offered a partnership position at the restaurant she worked for. Although it was great news and an amazing accomplishment, it meant staying in San Diego and saying goodbye to a fresh start. Ed was upset that their new life plans were about to change.
Ed and his mom finally met up to talk and emotions ran high. Norma wanted Ed to know that his happiness was the most important thing and he could always confide in her. It was a tearful, heartfelt moment that they both needed.
During the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After Season 7 Tell All, Ed and Liz revealed that they were still engaged, but no longer living together. Between their interactions with the other couples and the rehashing of their issues, tensions grew quickly.
Stay tuned to see what's next for Ed and Liz!
