Micah's Story

We first met Micah and his whole family on Season 1 of Welcome to Plathville. Back then, Micah was homeschooled and enjoyed living on the family farm with his siblings.

Micah and his siblings, Isaac, Lydia, Moriah, and Ethan, all played in a family band! This sparked their love for music.

Micah had an interest in modeling met an agent named Marsha. She taught him how to walk down the runway and invited him to an upcoming photo shoot.

Micah modeled for a boutique and enjoyed his first experience on the job.

A lot changed for Micah in a short amount of time. He gained a large social media following, moved out of the Plath family home, and bought a new car.

A rift grew between Micah and his parents, which was the cause of his move. He and his sister, Moriah, became roommates and ventured out into the world together. They weren't far from their family home, but the move helped them both gain some independence.

Although things between Micah and his parents weren't peachy, he still made sure to visit his younger siblings. Here, he played guitar with Isaac.

Micah and Moriah had a difficult conversation with Kim and Barry. Micah explained that he and his siblings grew up too sheltered and criticized some of Kim and Barry's parenting methods.

The more modeling jobs Micah took, the more confident he became in his craft.

Micah took his modeling partner, Helena, out on a date! Although he loved spending time with her, he didn't feel ready for a serious relationship. They remained friends and Micah focused on his modeling career.

Micah took up a lot of hobbies and tried so many new things, including skateboarding. He wanted to challenge himself and see what he was capable of.

Hitting the gym! Micah was excited for his future and set important career and personal goals for himself. He was truly focused on bettering himself.

Micah and his family visited the grave of his younger brother, Joshua, who passed when he was a toddler. They gathered to remember him and shared sweet memories. It was a warm celebration of their loved one.

From modeling to acting. Micah wanted to expand his range and worked on his acting skills. He was a bit of a perfectionist, which pushed him harder to succeed.

Micah modeled alongside animals for the first time with Ethan's then-wife, Olivia, behind the camera.

Family bonding. Micah felt torn watching Ethan and Olivia break away from the rest of the family. He hoped that everyone could come together and he tried his best to stay neutral and present.

Micah caught up with Helena and discussed everything going on with his family members. He appreciated her support.

Micah performed with Moriah at her first big concert!

Given the friction between Kim and Barry and the kids, everyone wanted a fresh start. So, Micah moved away to California to pursue acting and Ethan, Olivia, and Moriah moved to Tampa, Florida together. They visited each other and didn't let the distance affect their relationships.

Micah thrived in Los Angeles. He made some new friends, dated around, and learned a lot about himself. He wanted to see and experience everything that California had to offer.

Moriah confided in Micah about her rough breakup with her then-boyfriend, Max. Micah sat down with Max to see what was going on, but later found out that Max didn't tell the whole truth. Luckily, Micah was there to support Moriah when she needed him the most.

Micah and his friend, Hayden, hosted a fun double date at their place.

Micah chatted with Hayden and opened up about his parents' split. He noted how much his mother and father changed in the past year or so.

Micah turned 21 years old! He celebrated in Tampa with Ethan, Olivia, Moriah, and some friends. And of course, he popped open a bottle of champagne.

To take his 21st birthday to the next level, Micah went to the strip club. He enjoyed the experience, but Ethan was beyond uncomfortable.

Micah took Ethan to see Barry. It was their first meeting in a long time and Barry revealed that he and Kim were getting a divorce. He shared the details with the oldest children.

Micah made a last-minute decision to surprise his siblings! He flew in from California and joined the family's plans to visit Joshua's grave on his birthday.

Off to Jamaica! Micah took a relaxing trip with Moriah, Ethan, and Olivia. They did water sports, took in the beauty, and had an incredible time. Later on, he and Moriah confronted Olivia about her negative feelings towards Kim. Things got a bit awkward, but they quickly moved past it and continued with their vacation.

Micah and Barry found a special connection through their love for competition and working out. They were closer than ever! Barry referred to is as "bonding as bros at the gym."

After living in LA for a while, he experienced really good months as well as periods without booking modeling jobs. Growing frustrated, Micah wondered if he should stick with modeling long term or pursue another career.

Boys trip! Micah invited Ethan, Isaac, and Barry to Malibu, California for a fun getaway. They gave surfing their best attempt, but the chilly water and rough waves made it difficult to stand up on their boards — let alone hang ten.

Soon, Micah's Los Angeles chapter came to a close. He moved to Florida, but that wasn't the biggest surprise. He moved in with his new girlfriend, Veronica! It was a big step for Micah, but Veronica was still worried about dating someone in the public eye. She valued her privacy.

Barry rounded up the Plath boys for a therapeutic gym sesh. He, Micah, and Isaac were there to support Ethan while he dealt with his divorce from Olivia.

Micah and his siblings went to see Kim's houseboat for the first time! They had loads of questions for her about her new home.

Girlfriend reveal! Veronica sat down with Micah and discussed their relationship.

Micah and Veronica talked about commitment. She made jokes about getting engaged in a jewelry store and Micah got her a grogeous cocktail ring for the time being. Since they were still so young, he said they were "thinking about thinking about it."
