We first met Mike and Natalie on 90 Day Fiance Season 7. They entered each other's lives when their mutual friends asked them both to be godparents to their child. They began texting each other and after a while, Mike flew to Natalie's home in Kyiv, Ukraine. He later proposed to her in Paris and they started a new life together.
Mike and Natalie video chatted to stay in touch throughout their relationship. Soon, it was time for the fiances to reunite.
Mike flew to Ukraine, where he and Natalie got to know each other a bit better. It was clear that they had some conflicting opinions (like Mike's carnivore lifestyle and belief in aliens), but they still wanted to make their relationship work.
Unfortunately, these two struggled with their conflicting views and trust issues. When Natalie failed to say she loved Mike, he decided to return home. She tossed her engagement ring into Mike's suitcase before he left, and although that seemed like the last straw for the couple, their journey continued.
They decided to give things another go when Natalie's K-1 Visa was finally approved! Here, in 90 Day Fiance Season 8, she traveled to the airport with her mom, Nelia. Natalie knew it would be hard living so far away from her mother, but she made the leap for love.
Natalie arrived in America! She and Mike were eager to work past their problems and start a new life together.
Mike brought Natalie to his home in Sequim, Washington. She wasn't too fond of the area or the state of Mike's house.
Mike's mom, Trish, visited and voiced some of her concerns. She questioned Natalie's intentions and Mike's ability to move on from their rocky past.
Next, they went to couples therapy to sort out their issues. Natalie found it hard to trust Mike and questioned his fidelity due to past experiences. At the same time, Mike felt insulted by Natalie and was unsure about their connection.
The couple's past issues bubbled up again and they had a difficult time finding common ground on many topics. To make matters worse, their wedding plans were completely uprooted by the pandemic. Natalie's visa was about to expire and they didn't have much time to decide what to do next.
Mike called off the wedding and Natalie was devastated. On the day of their would-be wedding, Natalie prepared to fly back to Ukraine during the pandemic. In the end, Natalie was unable to make her flight and returned to Mike's home.
The couple tried working things out and followed through with the wedding. They held the ceremony in their yard with a handful of friends. Congratulations, newlyweds!
During 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 6, Mike and Natalie visited Trish in Oklahoma. Together, they celebrated Mike's birthday.
Trish shared her opinion on Natalie and her career goals.
Natalie felt insulted, fled to the car, and couldn't wait to leave Oklahoma.
Back in Sequim, Mike & Natalie welcomed a pet rat named Lucky into the family.
Natalie learned how to repair the truck. She and Mike were trying their best to get along and work on their communication skills.
However, Natalie still felt very alone in America. She confessed this to Mike, but he took it as her being ungrateful.
Natalie needed surgery on her nose to address breathing issues. Mike was aware that she needed the procedure, but he had no idea she already booked the date on her own. He became frustrated with the entire situation, but in the end, he put aside his anger and helped Natalie through her recovery.
One person helped Natalie feel less alone. Her Russian friend, Juliana, was her #1 confidant and advised her on marriage woes. Natalie cherished their bond.
Natalie called Trish to confront her about hurtful comments she allegedly made in the past. The conversation grew tense and led to a blowup that nobody expected.
The couple couldn't make things work and eventually broke up. Although they're not together anymore, Mike and Natalie's whirlwind romance is one to remember.
