Scenes We’ll Never Forget
From the original “90 Day Fiancé,” to "90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After,” The Family Chantel” and “Darcey and Stacey,” there have been plenty of jaw-dropping moments. In no particular order, flip through 20 scenes that are bound to go down in 90 Day history.
Ed Showers with Rose’s Dad
Big Ed is a fan favorite in the 90 Day universe, and his shower with Rose’s dad earned a few rewinds. After hesitantly agreeing to the joint shower, Ed was surprised when Rose poured cold water over his head, shocked that there were chickens right behind them and completely stunned when he turned around just as Rose sprayed him down with a hose. The funniest moment, though, was when Ed finally couldn't take anymore, tried to leave and came face to face with a limping rat. Culture shock doesn’t even begin to describe the hilarity.
Kalani’s Fight with Asuelu’s Mom and Sister
Everything escalated when Kalani confronted Asuelu’s mom and sister about their frequent requests for money. Though Kalani was originally willing to let Asuelu give some of his earnings to his family, that flew out the window when Asuelu’s mom said she didn’t care about her grandkids and Tammy tried to take a swing at her sister-in-law.
Charlie’s Drunk Speech
This moment got worse the longer it went on. Everyone at home gasped when Charlie drunkenly grabbed the microphone from his dad and started a long speech about why Elizabeth and Andrei shouldn’t use his dad for money. The only saving grace was that most of wedding attendees don’t speak English, and had no idea what was going on.
Nicole’s Mom Took a Swing at Alejandro
To say that Nicole was nervous about introducing her mom to her new boyfriend, Alejandro, is an understatement. On top of Alejandro’s job falling below Lida’s expectations, he is also currently married. When Lida found out about his marital status, she grabbed her purse and swung! Alejandro was able to dodge the blows, but the impact on Nicole and Lida’s relationship hit home.
Ariela and Biniyam’s Proposal
During an Ethiopian festival, Tikkat, Biniyam explained to Ariela that men toss lemons at women they are interested in. The women, in turn, will catch the lemon and a relationship is beautifully formed. This image was brought to fruition when Biniyam surprised Ariela by proposing with a ring inside of a lemon! The moment was so sweet and a heartwarming example of cultures merging together.
Kenny and Armando’s Engagement
Speaking of engagements, none were sweeter than Armando and Kenny’s. After facing many challenges with Armando’s family, who struggled to accept his relationship with Kenny, the pair sealed their love with a tearful waterfront proposal. We can’t wait to see the wedding photos!
Nicole’s Friends Disapproving of Alejandro
We’ve all faced 100 questions from our friends when we start dating someone new, but Nicole’s gals took it to a new level! They grilled Nicole about the way Alejandro dresses, his job, his education and more. Just wait until they find out he’s married!
Hannah Has Two Dads
Should we call this the sweetest moment in 90 Day history? Upon learning that Armando and Kenny were officially going to get married, Hannah said she was happy to have two dads because it meant she’d get double the love. AW!
Stacey and Florian’s Honeymoon
There’s a beauty in simplicity when it comes to spending time with your partner, but an apartment-based honeymoon may be pushing it. Like many couples who got married as the pandemic hit, Stacey and Florian celebrated their nuptials dreaming of the beach while based inside with little more than a glass of champagne. Cheers!
Pedro Talks with Alejandro
Pedro’s first meeting with Alejandro didn’t exactly go well. The conversation started with Pedro asking if Alejandro uses henna to dye his beard and finished with Alejandro explaining that he arrived in the U.S. with a tourist visa that later turned into a green card by way of his marriage–which he is still in, by the way. Suffice to say, Pedro didn’t get a good first impression.
Angela Showed Off Her Wedding Dress
Angela modeling her wedding attire for her grandkids was equal parts adorable and sad. Five of the girls volunteered to be her flower girl, and the kids all screamed in joy after seeing Angela’s wedding dress. However, they were hurt by the idea that they couldn’t attend the wedding in person, but Angela promised to represent them in her bouquet.
“She Forget About My Platano”
Before their trip to New York, Chantel surprised Pedro with a lacey lingerie set with hopes of spicing things up. Chantel admits that their physical relationship has been lacking, to which Pedro hilariously responds, “You forget about my platano Pinky Winky.” The pair usually have so much outside tension affecting their relationship that it’s nice to see them goofing off and enjoying being together.
The Four-Year Divorce
Last time we saw Jenny, she was shocked to learn that Sumit was married. This time, she was doubly taken aback when she learned that Sumit’s friend has been going through a divorce process for four years! All this time, Jenny has been waiting for Sumit to separate from his wife so their relationship can start, but she realized that she may have to wait longer than anticipated.
Angenette at the Club
To bond, Chantel took her brother Royal’s fiancé, Angenette, to a club. The girls' night was full of drinks and Angenette, who says she has never had alcohol before, downed a few too many Long Islands. Angenette began to loosen up and was only stopped by Royal, who came to take her home after sending a few unanswered messages.
Darcey’s Bubbly FaceTime
Darcey surprised Georgi with what was meant to be a sexy FaceTime call, but most of us at home were worried that she would drop her phone in the bathtub.
Asuelu’s Food Search
In an effort to impress his family, Asuelu asked for only “the best of the best” from each food truck and walked away with a bounty.
I Like the View
This was the TikTok heard around the world! Even if you don’t know 90 Day Fiancé (and who doesn’t?), you know this scene. Everyone was repeating “I like the view” to each other for weeks after this scene went viral and we loved every remake.
Miss Piggy
Big, puffy ballgowns are wedding staples, but when it comes to her sister wearing a poufy dress, Darcey thinks Stacey will just end up looking like Miss Piggy.
Touring Ari’s Apartment
To say Ariela’s parents were unimpressed with her and Biniyam’s apartment is an understatement. Her mom and dad critiqued every square foot–literally. Her parents thought the apartment was tiny and judged its lack of appliances. What was most confusing to us, though, was their aversion to the size of the bathroom, which is larger than many American bathrooms that we’ve seen.
Does Anyone Object?
Who else gasped when Robert pipped up after the pastor asked for objection? Everyone was on the edge of their seat, wondering why he would allow the wedding to get so far if he was having second thoughts. Luckily, though, he used the moment to officially propose before saying “I do.”
