Drip Dye Hair Is the New Salon Trend Everyone Is Talking About and We’re Obsessed

Remember in elementary school when you'd take a bunch of paint colors and splatter them on a piece of paper to see what would happen? Could you imagine applying that process to hair color? Taylor Rae, a vivid hair color specialist based in Denver, CO does exactly that.

Taylor told Allure, ""I've been thinking about it for a while and I wanted to see what would happen if I poured a bunch of color on [someone's] head. Initially, I started with a mannequin a few weeks ago and then I had a client who was willing to let me play with her hair to bring it to life for real!"

The colors she uses are first diluted so the colors she chooses can drip the way she wants them to. She sections the client's hair to prevent clumping of colors. She is sure to pick colors that compliment each other as to avoid any muddy/ugly colors coming out. The color is best done on bright hair colors.

What do you think, would you try rainbow hair?!
