Unique Fall Wedding Trends We Love

Fall weddings offer a unique opportunity to blend seasonal flavors, colors, and ambiance into your celebration. But this fall, a new list of wedding trends is sweeping couples’ to-do lists, from their venues to their menus, and more. Here are the top eight fall 2024 wedding trends that are all-around unique.

Coffee Shop Corners

Instead of coffee carts or stations, couples are ending the night with a more intricate and comfy option for their guests. A late-night trend this wedding season will be coffee corners, where an area of the venue is turned into a mini coffee shop. Think comfy couches, barstools, and high tops, and a barista there to whip up your favorite drinks on the spot.

Big Bold Blooms

Even though we’re leaving behind the spring and summer, big and bold floral arrangements are sticking around this fall season. Instead of traditional fall colors, like burgundy and marigold, couples are opting for more color. We’ll see fuchsia, bright blue, and periwinkle make a comeback in fall bouquets.

Themed After Parties

After parties have become popular second acts for couples who want to keep the night going, but this fall, couples are going with themes. Instead of heading to a bar or secondary venue in the outfit you came to the wedding in, couples will pick a theme (ex: western, disco, etc.) and ask guests to bring a second outfit to change into.

Guest Color Palettes

The fall season is usually when couples get more intricate with their wedding dress codes. With cooler weather comes the chance to ask guests to wear more formal attire. But this fall, couples are taking it to another level and asking guests to wear a color palette. For example, the dress code may state “Black Tie” and only the colors white and black.

Fancy Mocktails

As a toast to those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages, fall couples are adding a fancy signature mocktail to their drink menu. Incorporating fall notes, like pomegranate, ginger, or chai, these mocktails will be a spin-off of the couple’s other signature beverages.

Wedding Content Creators

In addition to wedding planners, photographers, and musical entertainment, a popular vendor amongst fall couples is a wedding content creator. This person will be there to take short clips for social media. They will also snap photos for next-day stories too.

Ice Sculptures

Instead of traditional cake toppers, couples are opting for something a bit more unusual this season. They are getting ice sculptures made of themselves to put next to the cake. These ice sculptures are photo-worthy pieces of decor that surprise guests.

Audio Guestbooks

Guestbooks are a popular staple at weddings. But this fall season, instead of the traditional ones, couples are choosing audio guestbooks. Guests can pick up a phone and leave a voicemail. After the wedding, couples have access to these voicemails to replay whenever they’d like.
