Bachelor and bachelorette parties have the reputation of being, well, a little naughty. But times are shifting. Instead brides and grooms-to-be are embracing the event as a chance to do something unique with their closest comrades. Here are so many ways to celebrate across the country.
ALABAMA: Flora-Bama Bar
What screams bachelor or bachelorette party more than a bar right on the beach? This legendary bar sits on the gulf shores where Florida and Alabama meet. Grab some grub at the oyster bar before dancing the night away to live music on the beach. During the day, rent jet skis or charter a deep-sea fishing boat for fun on the water.
ALASKA: Salmon Fishing and Sightseeing
If you are going to make it all the way out to Alaska, you may as well go salmon fishing AND see the sights. This tour company does both. ARKANSAS: Hot Springs
There’s a reason that Hot Springs, Arkansas has become known as spa city. There are tons of bathhouses and spas that draw forth the amazing natural hot springs found in the middle of the town. DELAWARE: Do It All
Rehoboth beach has a ton to offer for a bachelorette weekend. It’ll be hard to choose what to do, so why not do it all? LOUISIANA: Party it Up in New Orleans
Hosting a bachelor or a bachelorette party in New Orleans is a no brainer. Beignets at Café Du Monde, late nights on Bourbon street and plenty of delicious cajun food.
