The New Doll
American Girl has added a new face to their historical doll collection, and not only will young girls love her, but we’re pretty sure their moms will too.
Courtney Moore is living her best life in 1986. She loves playing video games and rocking out to a good mixtape while wearing denim skirts, bangle bracelets and off-the-shoulder crop tops.
According to an American Girl press release, “She is a total ‘80s girl whose big, bright and bold ideas inspire today’s girls to find their inner hero to accomplish great things. Growing up in 1986, Courtney’s story reflects the pop culture of the decade from sky-high hair, neon-colored fashions, music television, and video gaming to major historical moments surrounding women in government and space exploration, as well as larger cultural shifts around blended families and emerging technology.”
Here’s a peek into Courtney’s collection.
Courtney
First up we have Courtney in all of her 80s glory. She’s rocking a side ponytail, a stone washed denim skirt over hot pink leggings, and a tank and crop top combo. Can we talk about her white, slouchy leather boots? Amazing. Courtney also comes with her own book that introduces her to the American Girl audience.
