Kenny & Armando: Mexico

Kenny (American): "I love an area called San Pedro Martir about an hour and a half from where we live. It’s the highest elevation mountain (around 11,000+ ft). It is home to a flock of California condors, which in the past were at risk of extinction, and I always had an interest in them."

Armando: "One of my favorite places is Valley of the Giants, which is an area near my hometown of San Felipe with enormous saguaros — some of the biggest impressive cacti in the world! Or the Tamale stand in our town every weekend is a fav!"

Jenny & Sumit: India

Jenny (American): "I love to go to Dhabas, a local Indian-style food place (mostly on the side of the freeway), where we get good Indian food. A second place I love is 32nd Avenue, 32nd Milestone. It was near to our apartment in Gurgaon."

Sumit: "Mussoorie is one of my favourites, it’s a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is about 35 km from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km north of the national capital of New Delhi. The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range.

My second favourite place to go in India is Chalal, Himachal Pradesh. If enjoying good food, peace, and safety at a low cost is your vibe, make your way to Chalal — which is located a short trek away from Kasol, popularly nicknamed as the 'Mini Israel' of Himachal Pradesh. This is also in the mountains."

Steven & Alina: Russia

Steven (American): "Khan Buz — Хан Буз (Buryat and Mongol cuisine in Novosibirsk)."

Alina: "Altai — Алтай (Russian republic in southern Siberia encompassing mountains, meadows, and lakes)."

Ariela & Biniyam: Ethiopia

Ari (American): "My favorite place I've ever been to in Ethiopia was in Omorate, Ethiopia on the Omo River. It is near the borders of South Sudan and Kenya. Here, you can visit the villages of the Dasanech Tribe. After crossing the river in a canoe it’s a long dusty walk to visit the villages."

Biniyam: "Lalibela. The churches are carved from the side of the mountain."

Ellie & Victor: Colombia

Ellie (American): "Victor’s house, it's on the beach!"

Victor: "Nuqui. It's a beach on the west coast of Colombia."

Corey & Evelin: Ecuador

Corey (American): "Los Frailes. It's one of the nicest beaches in Ecuador. It has the most white sand and clearest water along the Ecuadorian coastline. It is a known beach, but if you walk a bit further, you can find a secret entrance to a private part of the beach."

Evelin: "'La Rinconada,' which means the little corner. They have this unique beach, very small and so beautiful. No tourists go there, only surfers know about this entrance."
