The Derrico Triplets from Birth to Now

The youngest Derricos – Dawsyn, De'Aren, and Dyver – are toddlers now! Catch the triplets and the rest of their family on Doubling Down with the Derricos, Tuesdays at 10/9c.

On July 6, 2019, Karen and Deon welcomed two girls and a boy, Dawsyn, De’Aren, and Dyver, into the world.

The triplets were born via ceserean section.

Dawsyn, De'Aren, and Dyver were born premature, so they spent their early days in the NICU.

Although the triplets were doing well in the NICU, Karen and Deon learned that Dawsyn would need two surgeries on her heart due to a condition called ventricular septal defect (VSD).

Karen recovered and was able to go home, but she and Deon returned to the hospital to visit their little ones as much as possible.

Karen was delighted to have some cuddle time.

Soon, little De'Aren was ready to meet the rest of her family. She was the first triplet to be brought home.

Dyver came home next and got to meet all of his brothers and sisters!

Once De'Aren and Dyver were home with their parents, it was then time for Dawsyn to have her first surgery, which was a success! The triplets were reunited soon after.

The triplets got to know their new home and family members better with each day that passed.

Comfy and cute outfits were an absolute must during the triplets' first year.

The triplets celebrated their first Christmas.

De'Aren and Dyver had a laugh together.

Karen and Dawsyn took a sweet mother-daughter selfie. Dawsyn underwent her second surgery on February 20, 2020 and came out smiling.

Dyver is quite the daredevil, climbing to the top of his crib!
