Meet the Derricos, a family of 16! Here, Karen was expecting quintuplets!

Karen Derrico and her husband Deon both come from families with a history of birthing multiples.

Karen and Deon have had four sets of multiples, all of which were conceived naturally.

The Derricos had their first two children individually, then twins, followed by quintuplets, another set of twins, and triplets.

Some of Karen’s pregnancy cravings include veggies, pasta, and orange soda.

Karen nurses all of her babies until at least 8 months. They usually wean themselves after that point.

The Derricos' oldest child, Darian, dreams of becoming a video editor.

Karen delivered the quintuplets at 32 weeks gestation.

In the Derrico house, the children’s bedtime is 8 p.m. on school nights.

The Derricos sometimes hand down clothes to the next sibling, but there are usually not enough outfits for the next group. So, they often have to buy new clothes.

The Derrico kids include: Darian, Derrick, Dariz, Daician, Deonee, Daiten, Deniko, Denver, Dallas, Dior, and Diez. Then, along came three more additions to the family!

All of the kids visited Karen while she was on bed rest. This photo was taken shortly before she gave birth to triplets, Dawsyn, De'Aren, and Dyver.

The Derricos' "miracle five" turned seven years old on September 6, 2020!

Karen celebrated the one-year anniversary of little Dawsyn's heart surgery. What a happy baby!
