One of the most special parts of wedding planning happens when the person getting married tries on the outfit of their dreams. It’s a memorable moment and an exciting way to make the upcoming celebration feel real.

With so many wedding dress options out there, it can be tough to zero in on the right choice for you. As you're browsing websites and social media, keep in mind these top 15 wedding dress trends for fall and winter 2021!

Shoulder Capes

Wedding capes have been around for quite some time and they're the perfect alternative to a long veil or dress train. However, what's in style for this season is a bit different. Shoulder capes are sweeping bridal fashion runways and dresses are seen with long fabric that’s draped over each shoulder, hanging down to the seam of the dress. It’s a great look for an outdoor ceremony in colder weather and you can take it off for an indoor reception.

Two-Piece Options

With so many pandemic wedding plans getting adjusted, brides are opting for two-piece looks that can be mixed for different occasions. Some will wear a silk crop top with a high-waisted tulle skirt for the ceremony, then pair that top with a longer skirt for the reception. Others are going to wear a double-breasted blazer that they can pair with a skirt or pants for two different wedding occasions.
