Every year, the parents had their kids draw names for gift giving. It was an organized system for the large family and turned into a beloved tradition along the way.
Christine and Meri picked out the perfect tree!
The Browns spent Christmas in a snowy cabin. Getting their tree through the door was no easy feat.

For the finishing touch, Kody placed an angel on top of the tree.

Everyone exchanged gifts on Christmas morning! The kids were so excited to see their siblings' reactions to their presents.
Christine spent the evening teaching the family about the meaning of Hannukah. It was a great opportunity for them to learn about other cultures and religions as they prepared to celebrate their own.

After moving into separate houses, the family rented a large home so they could be together for Christmas. Their gift exchange was heartwarming.
The following year, everyone spent Christmas morning at Janelle's house. Robyn surprised Kody by changing her last name to Brown. She wrapped up the certificate just for him.
Christine, Janelle, Meri, and Robyn had a caramel making contest and Kody was the judge. Christine won! Then, Meri and Robyn revealed that they bought caramels from the store and passed them off as their own.
Every Christmas Eve, Meri gifted the entire family fun holiday pajamas to wear. It was one of her favorite traditions.
The Browns were concerned about their family gatherings amid the pandemic. They made sure to follow all precautions and test before celebrating and it all worked out.
With so many changes happening in the family the past year, Christine and Janelle became closer than ever. They put together a Christmas tree to add some holiday cheer to Janelle's apartment.
Christmas Eve at Christine's! The Browns celebrated separately, but their celebrations were still full of cheer.
