Mission Statement
With so many big changes going on in their lives, the Browns needed a nice retreat. So, they went to Sedona, Arizona with their family therapist, Pat. They did several workshops to improve their communication, including a family mission statement. Everyone wrote out words that represented their family's mission on blocks and arranged them in a creative way. It was a turning point for the spouses and reinforced why they chose plural marriage in the first place.
Divorce & Marriage
Meri met with a lawyer and decided to legally divorce Kody. She wanted to do this so he could legally marry Robyn and adopt her children. Although the divorce was for the good of the kids, it was a deeply emotional moment for both Meri and Robyn.

Meri revealed that in a moment of loneliness, she went online to find community. She met a man and they began talking to each other regularly. The man made Meri laugh and feel happy during a time when she needed just that — but then, her new friend turned on her. There was a woman behind the man's fake profile and Meri felt threatened. She began pushing her loved ones away in order to protect them from this person.
