Meghan Markle's Royal Pregnancy in Photos
A look back at the Duchess of Sussex’s royal baby bump from her announcement to now.
Meghan Markle's Pregnancy in Pictures
Our favorite American royal, Meghan Markle, and Prince Harry excited the world with their pregnancy announcement in October 2018, and we have adored every flash of baby bump since the news broke. Though the Duchess’ exact due date is unknown, the end of her third trimester is fast approaching. In honor of the baby’s upcoming arrival, here is a look back at Meghan moving through pregnancy with style and grace.
October
Before the announcement, Meghan was often seen sporting large, longlined coats and flaring skirts that hid her emerging bump. However, after sharing her secret with the public, the Duchess opted for fitted apparel that showed off her new passenger.
November
Our first hint that Meghan and Harry had been keeping their baby news to themselves for longer than expected came in November when Meghan's bump showed obvious signs of development. The royal was seen holding her bump at a nursing home charity event and we all had to ask: How did we miss it?
December
Now accustomed to her baby on board, fans loved this royal family photo op of Meghan and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, chatting between their Dukes at St. Magdalene Church's annual Christmas Day service.
January
Meghan Markle's style almost outshines her beautiful baby bump – almost. The Duchess donned this pink dress suit to The National Theatre in January after she assumed her new role as a Royal Patron of the theatre. This honor was passed on to her by Queen Elizabeth II, who believes the arts should be used to bring people of different backgrounds together.
February
The Royal Baby was on full display when Meghan wore this fitted black and white shirt to the Villa des Ambassadors. The event hosted children from underserved communities and invited them to learn traditional Moroccan recipes and watch cooking demonstrations.
March
Meghan kicked off Women's History Month at King's College London for an International Women's Day panel, and honestly, who better to inspire women than a successful actress turned philanthropic Duchess?
“If things are wrong and there is a lack of justice and an inequality, someone needs to say something — and why can’t it be you?” Meghan told panel attendees.
Present Day Bump
Many suspect that Meghan Markle is due in April, meaning new royal baby pictures are around the corner. While we absolutely loved watching the Duchess show off her bump, we'll love seeing the new arrival even more!
