Florian got creative and added a romantic touch to the apartment with candles. He wrote out their wedding date, made a heart, and outlined a small aisle for Stacey to walk down. It was a sweet way to make their pandemic apartment wedding feel a little more special.

Meanwhile, Stacey struggled to get her gorgeous gown on in the bathroom.

Florian welcomed their wedding officiant, Paul, into the apartment. They waited for Stacey to make her grand entrance.

Stacey felt conflicted. She was upset that her family wouldn't be in attendance, but she was so excited to marry Florian. Although she was feeling a bit down, she took a deep breath and prepared to move forward with the wedding.

Here comes the bride!

She needed some assistance from her future husband as her dress was a little too full for the candlelit aisle.

Paul filmed the ceremony for the lovebirds.

When it came time to sign the couple's marriage license, they realized they held the ceremony in the wrong town.

In order to keep their wedding date and officially sign their wedding license, the couple blew out the candles and raced over to Middletown. Time was ticking, but luckily, Stacey's dad's house in Middletown was only five minutes away.

They arrived just before midnight and tried not to wake up Stacey's dad.

Paul repeated the ceremony on Stacey's dad's doorstep. This time, Stacey and Florian were officially husband and wife!

Although it wasn't the perfect wedding they originally imagined, they were both ecstatic. Their big day — despite the license fiasco — was a success and they couldn't be any happier!
