The Shemwells are a family of 13, and there's no shortage of excitement with this crew. Raising 11 children under the age of 13 is a struggle, but parents Erica and Spencer make it work! Read on to learn how these two families joined to become one.

Erica and Tony Means met, fell in love, and began growing a family together.

Soon, their family grew bigger and bigger. Erica and Tony had a total of seven beautiful children together!

Sadly, Tony was battling brain cancer. When he passed, Erica was left to raise their seven kids alone. Eventually, she sought support in an online widow/widower support group.

Around the same time, Spencer and Aimee Shemwell were raising their four children together.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, Aimee was in a fatal car accident. Spencer had to figure out life as a single dad of four.

Raising kids on your own is no easy task for any parent. Eventually, Spencer turned to an online widow/widower support group as well.

Erica and Spencer met through their support group and felt an instant connection. They were both dealing with loss and had similar positions as parents. Soon, their bond grew stronger and they wed after 13 months, joining their two families together as one. Now, let's meet The Blended Bunch kids!

Erica's oldest child, Landon, is 12 years old.

Meet Emma! She's 10 and Erica's oldest daughter.

Erica's nine-year-old, Lily, is full of sunshine.

This smiley eight-year-old is Sophie and she's Erica's fourth child.

Tanner, 6, has the reddest hair out of all the Means children!

Amelia is Erica's youngest daughter at four years old.

Three-year-old Caleb is the baby of the Means family!

Spencer's oldest child, Brayden, is 12, just like Landon.

Harper, 8, is Spencer's only daughter.

Avery, 6, knows how to ham it up for the camera.

Four-year-old Bexley is Spencer's youngest child.

Now, all 11 kids live under the same roof in Utah.
