They're Worth The Hype

From simple videos that show you how to make delicious and healthy meals for your family to the videos that give you the perfect recipe for a sweet treat, TikTok has become a constant source of entertainment and meal planning in my house. An added bonus to all of the yummy recipes I’ve made thanks to TikTok are the kitchen gadgets that I’ve seen countless creators use in their videos. From the veggie chopper that I can’t stop telling everyone about to the salt and pepper grinder I’ve already gifted to my friends and family, these are the kitchen gadgets that TikTok inspired me to buy and I absolutely love.

Veggie Chopper

Hands down, this gadget has made my life easier and cut my prep time down significantly in the kitchen. From onions, celery, carrots, and potatoes, this handy chopper cuts each piece of food into tiny pieces quickly and with little effort on my part. No more cutting and chopping with your knives — this gadget does it for you and keeps all of the food in one container. Here’s a bit of a warning: the blades are super sharp. When it’s time to clean the blades, don’t touch them. Instead, use the small brush that comes with the chopper to clean the blades. Sounds obvious, but you’ll thank me later.

Gravity Electric Pepper and Salt Grinder Set

This electric salt and pepper set pops up in a lot of cooking videos on TikTok, and once I started using this set, I completely ignored my regular shakers. They are fun to use and look great sitting out on your kitchen counter. Just flip over the grinders and it will begin seasoning your food, which is nice when you have dirty hands and you don’t have to open or touch the lids. There are different grinding levels so you can choose which works best for you.

Cheese Grater

Because of TikTok, I learned that some shredded cheese has an oily layer that helps it stay fresher longer. However, that oily layer makes the cheese harder to melt and gives it a different taste. So when a recipe calls for shredded cheese, you should buy a block of cheese and shred it yourself. This cheese grater is a fan favorite of cooks and chefs on TikTok and makes the task of shredding cheese so easy. Plus, there are eight different colors that you can choose from so your cheese grater is a fun pop of color in your kitchen gadgets.

When it’s time to do the dishes, this roll up dish rack is going to become your favorite gadget. It sits on top of your sink and lets your cups, plates, and utensils drip dry into the sink. You’ll feel like you have a barista in your home whipping up a delicious latte for you every morning.

If your cupboards are looking unorganized and messy, grab these cord organizers. They attach to the back of your appliances like your toaster, slow cooker or Instant Pot and give you a place to wrap up the cord. It’s amazing how this little gadget helps keep all of your items looking cleaner and easier to store.

Tired of buying olive oil cooking spray when you have a big bottle of olive oil sitting in your pantry? This spray bottle lets you use your favorite cooking oil in spray form. It’s perfect for topping food, spraying air fryers, and if you are watching your oil intake, this helps limit the amount you use while cooking. It’s small enough that it won’t take up too much space in your pantry or on your counter.

This one may seem silly, but when I use it to scrap all the food off my cutting board, I sort of feel like I’m on my own cooking show. It’s also a great gadget to let your kids use when they are helping you in the kitchen.

Do you need your ice to be shaped into small balls? Probably not. Will having your ice in small balls make all of your drinks more fun and enjoyable? Definitely yes.
