Anti-aging products have been hyped up for years by women of all ages. It’s best to start using them when you’re younger, but these products are also lauded as being important to slow down the effects of aging if you’re older. Despite your age, there is one thing that is true regardless–these products can be expensive. We’ve rounded up a few items that are worth your money. From retinols to vitamin C serums, we’ve explained which ingredients to look out for and when to apply them.

Olay Regenerist Retinol Moisturizer

One of the key ingredients in anti-aging moisturizers is retinol. It’s intended to help your skin produce collagen, thus cutting down on fine lines and wrinkles. While I’ve found that retinols can be slightly harsh and drying, this one is very moisturizing, and I have seen a noticeable difference.

While this may not go on your skin, it’s important to consider how you’re nourishing your body, as well, and collagen will help drastically improve the appearance of your skin. As we age, our bodies naturally begin to produce less collagen, the protein that maintains our skin’s elasticity. Drop some of this powder in your morning coffee, juice, oatmeal or whatever else you want for breakfast and keep it coming!
