Quick and Easy Drinks
Summer is just around the corner and, if last summer is any indication, canned cocktails will be the drink of the season. From light, refreshing hard seltzers to boozier, more complex craft cocktails, you can crack open something with just about any flavor profile. Here are the seven drinks you should be stocking your fridge with this summer.
Cutwater Spirits Tiki Rum Mai Tai
Transport yourself to a tropical island, even if you aren’t leaving your backyard. Cutwater spirits are made out of a distillery in San Diego, and they truly taste like cocktails from behind the bar. The Mai Tai uses two kinds of rum–Bali Hai Tiki Gold and Barrel-Aged–with flavors of coconut and pineapple to make this a true tropical treat. We won’t tell if you throw a funky straw or tiki umbrella in to channel the tropics.

Gosling’s Dark n’ Stormy
Ginger beer and Gosling’s Black Strap rum make up this simple but flavorful cocktail. There’s good reason it’s the official cocktail of Bermuda. No need to pour over ice, this drink is ready to go as is. It’s not overly sweet, which makes it easy to enjoy around a campfire.

Miami Cocktail Co. Sangria Spritz
Channel Miami beach vibes no matter what town you’re in with this Sangria spritz. All of their cocktails are light and fruity, and made with organic spirits and juices, so you don’t get that cloying aftertaste. The Sangria Spritz pairs a sparkling rose with pineapple, lime and orange juices for a nice summer sipper.

Slow & Low Rock and Rye
For the true craft cocktail aficionado, this one packs a punch. Don’t let the small can size fool you; at 84-proof, this one can be enjoyed straight from the can or poured over ice with an orange peel for an impressive no-fuss libation.

Dulce Vida Sparkling Paloma
A Paloma could be the ultimate summer cocktail with fresh, tangy grapefruit, tequila, club soda and lime. Dulce Vida makes it simple by putting it all in a can with fresh juices, so you don’t get any funky artificial aftertastes.

Greenbar Distillery Hibiscus Spritz
Spritzes are making a comeback. This version is tangy and sweet with an explosion of flavors, including a strong hibiscus and notes of lemon, jasmine and orange. It’s perfect when chilled and the cute can is definitely photo worthy.

If you are a hard seltzer fan but looking for a little less guilt with each can, this one is for you. You’ll find only all-natural, USDA-certified ingredients here, plus a boost of vitamins and minerals. That’s not to take away from the fun flavors like tangerine yuzu or raspberry.
