Keep the Outdoor Fun Alive

As we move into fall and winter, temperatures are getting colder and it’s getting dark earlier, but that doesn’t mean we have to move inside just yet. There are plenty of ways you can extend life outdoors into the next season with a few décor items. Here are 10 of our favorites.

Long Underwear

Stocking up on long underwear for sledding or skiing is one thing but, this winter, long underwear may be a daily outdoor necessity. It’s worth the extra splurge for something like Patagonia base layers for the whole family. The material is super soft, moisture wicking and meant to keep you warm.

If you don’t have one in your garage, this is an inexpensive and worthy investment. As temperatures get colder and the weather is more precipitous, you’ll want to have a tarp handy. It can cover wet ground, be thrown over furniture to keep it dry or be used while camping.
