Meet This Season's Mother-Daughter Pairs

They're attached at the hip and nothing can come between them. The mothers and daughters of sMothered never cease to amaze us with their family traditions and eyebrow-raising closeness. Meet the new duos — as well as some familiar returning faces — and catch the all-new season, premiering on August 8 at 9/8c!

New: Paula & Francia

For this mother-daughter pair, boundaries don't exist. Paula and Francia do everything together, from partying to sleeping nude in the same bed! If that doesn't surprise you, then their reversed mother-daughter roles might. Mom Francia has a youthful spirit and daughter Paula often has to watch over her mother — and she even packs Francia her lunch. As Francia's only child, Paula can be a bit possessive over her mom. When Francia reveals her plans to adopt her niece from Colombia, Paula isn't having it. Will Paula's scheme to derail Francia's journey keep their relationship strong or will it backfire?

New: Shay & Angie

Shay and Angie have always been inseparable. Their bond grew even stronger after daughter Shay came out as transgender. Now, supportive mama Angie is fully invested in Shay's journey to womanhood. However, Angie isn't afraid to stick her nose in Shay's personal business and when Shay dedicates herself to a transformational weight loss plan, Angie takes control. Will Shay thrive and achieve her new goals or will Angie's involvement prove to be too much?

New: Ashley & Cathy

Like mother, like daughter. Mom Cathy and daughter Ashley look so alike, they are often confused for one another. From chin lifts to nipple piercings, these two aren't afraid to take a risk and try something new. In fact, their infamous boudoir photo shoots have attracted droves of men on dating apps. When Ashley moves right next door, it creates some tension with her sister, Samantha, who is currently living with Cathy. After excluding Samantha from many mother-daughter adventures, Ashley's move may do more harm for the family than good.

Returning: Cher & Dawn

Twinning! These look-a-likes are finally reuniting after six years. Daughter Cher was living in New York with her husband, Jared, while he finished his residency there. Now, the couple is moving back to Florida with their little girl, Belle. Dawn couldn't be happier to welcome her daughter and her family back home, but there's a catch. After landing a new job, Jared wants to move Cher and Belle to Miami, which is closer to his family. Will Dawn be able to cope or will she try to foil their Miami move and keep Cher in Tampa for good?

Returning: Kathy & Cristina

Mom Kathy and daughter Cristina only live four houses apart and couldn't be closer. The family pizzeria run by Cristina's husband, Carlo, is doing well and Kathy is looking forward to having more Cristina time. Although the business has only been bustling for a short while, Carlo is already looking forward to the future and considers expanding. To Kathy's dismay, this expansion may pull Cristina away from her as she gives the pizzeria her full attention once again. Enter the old-school mom guilt, which leads to a heated confrontation between Cristina and Carlo. Will they ever be able to find common ground?

Returning: Angelica & Sunhe

From bank accounts to bath water, daughter Angelica and mom Sunhe share everything. They even share a home with Angelica's fiance, Jason. Unfortunately, Jason's hesitation to tie the knot and Sunhe's strong disapproval of Jason caused Angelica to call of the wedding. Despite that, Angelica still wants to make her relationship with Jason work as they continue to raise their daughter, Amara, together — but not on Sunhe's watch. After Jason insists Sunhe move out, Sunhe offers an earth-shattering ultimatum: if she goes, she's taking Angelica and Amara with her.

Returning: Lauren & Lisa

How could anyone forget when Lisa helped her daughter, Lauren, carry out an at-home insemination procedure — unbeknownst to Lauren's wife, Laura Leigh. Now that Lauren is pregnant, Laura Leigh is determined to have her wife and mother-in-law set some important boundaries. Gone are the days of bathtime video chats and weekly sleepovers. Laura Leigh's attempts at distancing the mother-daughter duo set Lisa off and trigger her inner control freak. Then, the arrival of baby Reagan only intensifies Lisa an Laura Leigh's rivalry.
