Loren Brovarnik Opens Up About Raising Baby Shai

New parents Loren and Alexei welcomed their baby boy Shai in April and 90 Day Fiancé fans have been obsessed ever since. Luckily for viewers, Loren hosts a weekly Tuesday Talk on her Instagram stories, where she takes questions from those who are curious about their lives as new parents. Many have wanted to know details about raising Shai, how Loren and Alexei manage a newborn during the COVID-19 pandemic, and more. [What is the] biggest adjustment you’ve had to make with Shai?

I feel like life in general has been an adjustment. You just don’t do anything, or can’t do anything, without thinking about him first. But it’s the best kind of adjustment and we’re very lucky. For us, it kind of happened naturally.

Some people say a baby can make or break a relationship. Do you think Shai is making or breaking?

I’ve actually heard that too and I can honestly say that Shai has made our relationship that much stronger. We’re so much more in love, we’re so much more patient, we communicate more and we’re just all around happy.

How did your husband duplicate himself?

I guess I just wanted more Alex in my life, so we created Shai.

[What is the] hardest part of parenting during a pandemic?

Actually, quite the contrary! I’m forced to be at home and spend time with Shai, so it’s been great actually, being with him.

What are the biggest surprises you didn’t expect from having a little one?

Hard to believe because I’m a super neurotic person and stressed all the time, but I’ve actually become more calm of a person. I’ve never been more in the moment with everything and spiritually connected with myself. Things that used to bother me, don’t anymore.

Are you working hard on not giving AF about other mothers' irrelevant opinions/judgements?

Actually yes! I’m working hard on taking my own advice! And doing what works for me and my family! If it works, what’s the big deal? It’s not bothering anyone else. And that’s what makes everyone special and different!

Do you think being on 90 Day Fiancé changed you and/or Alex?

Over the last 5 years we’ve definitely grown individually and as a couple by nature, regardless of being on TV or not. But we try and stay as grounded as possible because we’re regular people. I definitely think being on the show has helped me get tougher and thicker skin though.

[What is the] funniest thing that has happened so far with baby Shai?

I was just changing his diaper and he farted, and poop came out at me, and then he peed. I screamed, and he got totally shaken up!
