Jennifer Garner Dresses Up for Her Son's Birthday Party and Totally Embarrasses Him

Stars embarrass their kids just like us!

There comes an age when our kids go from thinking we are the coolest, to rolling their eyes and thinking we’re total embarrassments. For Jennifer Garner, this moment came a little early for her third child and, while it can sting a bit, she’s handling it all with humor.

Garner posted a picture from her son Sam’s birthday party where she was dressed like a character from the movie How to Train Your Dragon. She was smiling and carrying the birthday boy’s cake when it all went down.

“Well, guess what,” Garner captioned the photo. “It turns out 7 is the age my kid stops thinking it’s cool when I dress up for the party.”

She coupled the post with hilarious hashtags like, #YoungestChild and #FirstEyeRoll.

Garner, who is also mom to 13-year-old Violet and 10-year-old Seraphina, is used to wearing costumes while on set for her movies and has been known to pull out all the stops when it comes to her kids’ birthday parties.

(Side note: Can we talk about how awesome Sam’s birthday cake is?)

Even if her son wasn’t crazy about his mom getting into the spirit, we sure were! So, keep it up girl, because we love your sparkle and that you are willing to wear ridiculous costumes for your kids.
