After announcing that he and his wife, Rita Wilson, had tested positive for COVID-19, Tom Hanks has kept fans updated on their recovery, including how they are passing their time while in isolation, and giving us all a little bit of advice from some of his iconic roles.

The 63-year-old actor, who is currently in Australia filming a movie, channeled Mr. Rogers in a recent Instagram post.

"Thanks to the helpers. Let’s take care of ourselves and each other," Hanks captioned a photo.

Hanks, who was nominated for an Academy Award for playing the iconic children's entertainer and TV host Fred Rogers in "A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" made a nod to a famous quote that seems quite fitting during such an unsettling time for all of us.

The original quote comes from a parenting book written by Rogers in 2002 and is often used to help kids, as well as adults, understand while bad things do happen, we must find hope in seeing the actions of helpers.

“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping,’” the quote says.

In another Instagram post, Hanks continued the movie quote trend by connecting updates about he and his wife to a line from the famous movie “A League of Their Own.”

"Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball," Hanks wrote.

The actor and his wife have been released from the hospital but continue to stay in isolation as they recover.
