A Thoughtful Bride Hands Her Bouquet to One Special Wedding Guest—You Have to See Why
One bride was willing to share the spotlight during her wedding with her brother and she used her bouquet toss to create a beautiful family memory.
Most brides want their wedding day to be all about them--and their partner--but mostly about them. Really, who can blame a girl? There are months of planning so that every detail is exactly how the bride envisions her big day. From the dress to the d?cor and the party at the reception, the bride has thought about it all. However, one bride was willing to share the spotlight during her wedding with her brother and she used her bouquet toss to create a beautiful family memory.
When Amie Murphree said "I do" to Colter Calhoun, she kept one surprise wedding detail a secret from all of her guests. Later at her reception, when all of the unmarried women at the wedding gathered around Murphree for the bouquet toss, the bride surprised everyone when she turned around and handed the bouquet to her brother's girlfriend, Savannah Gore. A stunned Gore got the shock of her life when Murphree's brother, Matthew, stepped in, got down on one knee, and proposed.
"I got married and my brother got ENGAGED!!!!!! This was the most special day of my entire life!" Murphree captioned the touching video that she posted to Twitter. Since sharing the now viral video, it has garnered more than 4.21 views and thousands of well wishes for both happy couples.
Gore, of course, said yes to the proposal and wedding guests can be heard clapping and cheering in the background of the video. "He was kind of hesitant though because he really didn't want to take the attention off me, but I didn't see it that way," Murphree wrote. "It made my day 100x more special and meaningful! I would do again and again for him." Now that is the opposite of a Bridezilla and we can't wait to see what happens at her brother's wedding. Congrats to both couples!
